At Mother Tongue, we are dedicated to supporting the voices of all women. This mean’s if you identify as Woman, or your gender identity spectrum includes “woman” within it, you are welcome to perform in our space.

We welcome women of all races, ages, sizes, and sexualities, and abilities to join us, and no matter what gender you were assigned at birth; your voice is relevant, important, and needed in this world.

Mother Tongue also acknowledges that Feminism is an intersectional word. When one of us is being silenced, we are all being silenced. We are an organisation running on stolen land, in a colonised country, in a racist, xenophobic, homophobic, ableist, sexist and misogynistic society. With this in mind, we are committed to doing the work to unpack all these things within our own organisation. We are always open to feedback if you feel you have insights you want to share with us about this.
